Scheduling FAQ for The Journal Program

Answers to common questions on booking, confirming, and managing coach meetings.

How do I find my coach’s available meeting times?

In your meeting portal, navigate to "Sessions," select "Schedule Session," and click on your desired time slot. You can then schedule a 1:1 meeting with your coach.

Do I have to attend office hours if I don’t have any questions?

No, attendance at office hours is optional. They’re designed for students to ask questions, so if you don’t have any, you’re not required to attend.

When can I sign up for office hours?

You can sign up for office hours at any time, starting on the first day of the bootcamp.

Are meetings 1-on-1?

Yes, all meetings are conducted one-on-one through the scheduling portal.

What if I don’t see any sessions?

Click on "Program" on the left, then select "Start Program." You’ll be able to see the available sessions to book appointments with your coach.

Do I need to book a meeting each week to avoid losing the chance?

Students are eligible to sign up for one meeting per week, please make sure to use your weekly sessions before each Sunday. Please note unused meeting sessions will not be transferred to other program weeks. 

Is a meeting confirmed once I book it?

When a student requests a meeting, it isn’t confirmed until the coach accepts. Once confirmed, the meeting is officially scheduled. If the coach needs to reschedule, they’ll propose a new time, which you’ll need to accept to finalize the new schedule.

What if none of the coach’s slots work for me?

If you can’t find suitable time slots, please submit a ticket here, including your available times and time zone. We’ll coordinate with the coach to try to open additional slots. If that’s not possible, we’ll work to assign a coach who can meet your preferred schedule.
