Early/Late Submissions for The Journal

Can I finish the assignments ahead of time?

Sorry, you can not. We will release the articles by the end of the previous day.

For the Journal, can the student skip a couple of weeks if they go on vacation?

We do encourage students to try their best to take some time every day to read and write even when they are on vacation to keep the momentum. After all, the goal of The Journal is to help students cultivate the habit of reading and writing every day. That being said, if students will not be able to work on The Journal when they go on vacation, they can skip a couple of essays. Please note that they won't be able to make up for the couple of weeks' work afterward. 

Can I make up the assignment after the deadline?

Once you miss the deadline each day, you won't be able to submit the assignment later. Please make sure to submit it on time starting today, before midnight every day. We also send out reminder emails to parents and kids.
