I would like to extend my special thanks to The Journal and Tiffany’s two patient and humorous tutors, who are truly wonderful. Thanks to Letterly, I have seen my child’s potential and learned that interest can indeed grow through perseverance.
Letterly got me interested in texts that were out of my comfort zone, but I came to enjoy them anyway. If you want to improve your writing and learn more about the structure of it, Letterly is the way to go.
The Journal improved my information-gathering, descriptive writing, and even creativity skills. The Journal improved the way I think, and also how I solve problems. I look forward to participating in future Letterly events. I hope you do too.
Before The Journal, I’d always thought writing was a tedious affair, but after a summer of writing an article per day, I found writing to be more enjoyable, and I’ve also improved on my time management skills from the constant flow of writing prompts.
I really enjoyed the camp! The deadlines really helped with my laziness and gave me a sense of urgency...The articles are well-balanced and I love how we have different topics and articles to choose from. This camp helped me a lot with my vocabulary, flow and structures in writing.
I cannot believe it, but my phenomenal four weeks here as a staff writer for The Journal have elapsed within the blink of an eye.
